What this new technology does is create a light weight flexible garment with total wind and waterproofness with high breathability.

Trinitech Twill

Trinitech Twill is much the same as Trinitech Stretch, it has the same microporous membrane technology stretched over spandex, the main differenece is that it does not have taped seams.

This means that although it is completely windproof and waterproof if the rain continues it will eventually soak through the seams. However its waterproof rating is still 10,000g which is much much higher than most coats.
